· No derailleur, only a plain sprocket in rear, and a changeable diameter chain-wheel on pedal.
· Smaller shaft length of the rear plain sprocket results in the capacity to bear heavier loads and the ability to operate under higher pressure with increased safety margin.
· Possible to have in excess of 30 operational diameter options for chain-wheel(You may see CHAINWHEEL at two differnet states as are shown in pics No.1 & No. 2 at top ) .
· Enables shifting gears step-by-step or change from smallest to largest diameter instantaneously.
· Chain remains parallel to the body frame axis at all times and under any situation resulting in no energy loss .
· In the absence of derailleurs, because of parallelnes of the chain and body frame axes the system is virtually wear-free and free from chain drop.
· Simplicity in design, lighter weight, possibility of using composite material make it more manufacturing cost effective.
